I founded Shepard Law on the principle that personal relationships matter. We represent real people who are suffering from serious injuries. Our clients aren’t familiar with the way the legal system works, and never planned to be dealing with the problems that they suddenly have to face. They don’t care about the big firm lawyer with the expensive suit. They want someone to talk to them like a real person, to listen to their story and understand what they are going through. They want to be heard, and to get help that is tailored to their situation, rather than be treated like an asset that is passed off to another law firm.
For over 20 years, I have represented plaintiffs in personal injury cases involving mesothelioma, lung cancer and other asbestos-related diseases, pharmaceutical drugs and devices, train accidents, aviation products liability, power tool products liability, ambulance accidents, gas tank explosions, diesel fume exposures, and smoking-related lung cancer. Every year, my firm achieves millions of dollars in verdicts or settlements for clients. Along the way, I have come to know some wonderful people who have gone through some extremely difficult ordeals. I’ve had a chance to spend time with WWII veterans, construction workers, mechanics, and folks from many other trades and occupations whom I might not have had a chance to help had I chosen another career path. I have learned something from each and every one of them. If you choose to partner with us at Shepard Law, I look forward to learning something from you too.
